News: Viz has posted more news on their manga releases. Whistle! and Beet the Vandal Buster have both been licensed by them and volume one will be out soon. No given release date as of yet. Also, a further update on their Yu-Gi-Oh! manga release:

However, it'll be the last time I mention here that it's been updated. I'll continue to update it all the time but it really isn't necessary to state it here all the time. =)

For anyone with the Teletoon channel, they have begun replaying Cardcaptors. What more, they are playing the episodes in order this time, like the British version, and not random episode after random episode like the American version/original Canadian version. If you have the channel, check it out at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm weekdays and 4:30 am daily. All times are in EST.

And so we've started all over again. The Animé Archives will now be returning to what it once was: an informative site on various animanga. ^_^ We're still at work, cleaning up all the old sections and adding in new ones, but you can be certain that once everything is running smoothly again, we will have no reason for long term hiatuses ever again. =) If you only came for the scanslations, then go join our mailing list. Any information about that can be found there and only there.

Heh, haven't heard from me in a while, eh? ^_^* Anyway, I have what you've all been waiting for~ Six releases, all available for http download, and all online until the first of November, when the next batch is released (don't expect that many for next month, though =P). There's chapter 8, 12, 15, & 16 from Tsubasa and 150 & 263 from Yuugiou out today. Look out for more Yuugiou next month and Shaman King, too! =) Oh, and since I missed it a month ago, happy 3 years + 1 month anniversary to us. XD Yeah, TAA's anniversary was actually on September 1. Can't believe it completely slipped my mind. =x Think of those last three Tsubasa chapters (12, 15, & 16) as a gift from me, since I worked like crazy to get them done in this past week alone. =D

We're still looking for fserves, so it anyone wants to be nice about it, e-mail me. =) On another note, Shaman King chapter 166 is up for download. ^_^

After thinking about it for a long time, I've finally come to a conclusion: for any of the licensed mangas that we are still scanslating, they will soon only be available on irc. This, of course, refers to our Yu-Gi-Oh! and Shaman King scanslations. What will happen is that, every chapter we've ever scanslated will be available for download on irc. However, we will still post the latest chapter for download via http, regardless of which series it is. Since this is such short notice, I'm giving you until 11:59 pm EST on Monday, August 18, 2003, to download any of our chapters online. After that time, any chapter that's not a) the most recent for that series, or b) not already licensed, will be taken offline indefinitely. I will be hosting TAA and the latest ED scanslations, as well, on my fserve. My name is "sakurataa" and I'll only serve files in the channel #endlessdimension@irc.mirx.com, so find me there. ^_^ Also, we're looking for fserves that would be willing to host some/all of our scanslations so please contact me if you're interested. Aside from all this, I do have some good news. =) Shaman King chapter 165 is now up and available for download.

Shaman King chapter 176, on the other hand, was really easy to scanslate, since the scans were pretty high quality. ^_^ I had them scanned from Formosa Youth, one of the Chinese versions of Weekly Jump (the other is Ex-am). Since it was finished in less than a day, it's up and ready for download. =)

I highly suggest joining our mailing list to get all scanslation news and info. I've been getting many e-mails asking the same question: where is chapter four of Tsubasa? The answer is this: TAA uses the scans Aoi-san makes from her magazines. However, she does not scan every chapter. Any chapter she scans, we scanslate. Any she doesn't, we're unable to, and we're really sorry about that. On an unrelated note, chapter 164 of Shaman King has been posted in the scanslation section.

Three things. First, if you downloaded a Yuugiou chapter before June 20th and it needed a password, go back and redownload that chapter. It won't ask for a password this time. Second, if you want to get all scanslations updates by e-mail and other such news, join our mailing list. Third, new Yuugiou chapter finished and posted. =) Go download v19c167 right now in the scanslation section.
