Description: Makiko is one of Kinomoto Sakura's teachers. She teaches Japanese and she's often seen reading a book aloud to the entire class while they read along or choosing a student to read. Sakura often fell asleep in this class because she had been tired out by the events of the previous day regarding the Clow Cards. Makiko was worried whenever she noticed Sakura wasn't her usual cheery self.
