36/64. A Slippery Slope
Kero is pigging out in Sakura's kitchen as no one is home and Sakura is on a ski trip with her class. At the ski resort, Sakura and all her classmates are skiing and having a good time. Sakura is still learning, however, both Madison an Eli are pros. When Zachary joins the trio, he tells them a story about the abominable snowman and Eli joins it. Li, hardly being able to ski at all, interrupts them as he skis down the hill and heads toward a tree. Eli quickly follows and puts himself between Li and the tree, causing Li to crash into Eli and hitting the snow instead of the tree. Eli offers him a hand but Li ignores it. Sakura and Madison join them and Sakura falls when she tries to stop.
Later that night, everyone is inside and Nikki asks Eli to tell a ghost story. As Eli tells the story, Sakura is obviously very frightened. Chelsea notices that it's late and the story ends as everyone heads off to their own rooms. Eli tells Sakura that he didn't know she was afraid of ghost stories. Sakura asks what he's afraid of, but Eli says it's a secret. While trying to sleep, Sakura has the dream of Clow again.
Li is sitting by the fireplace and Sakura joins him, telling him about her dreams. Apparently, Li had the same dream. They both go outside to talk and Li says they'll have to be stronger. The next day, Sakura is getting a lot better and so is Li. Madison is in the background taping everything. Soon it starts to snow and the day darkens. Madison wants to go back to the chalet, however, Sakura wants to continue skiing and goes with Eli. She's suddenly reminded of Eli's story as they are riding the lift to the top.
Mr. Terada is calling all the students back into the chalet as the snow and darkness increases. Madison joins her friends and tells them all that she can't find Sakura and Eli. Meanwhile, Sakura and Eli are at the top. The lifts have stopped moving and there's no one there. All of a sudden, an avalanches starts and it's heading for the chalet. Sakura runs off and Eli only smiles.
Sakura changes and uses Time and everything freezes. Flying to the spot of the avalanche, Sakura tries to use Firey, but falls unconscious. Time unfreezes and the avalanche starts to bury her. Eli stops it with his magic and as the avalanche melts away, the sun comes out again. He's thinking that she's done well. All of Sakura friends are waiting outside the chalet when they see Sakura and Eli slowly skiing down the hill. Sakura is extremely tired so Li picks her up and they all take her inside. Eli, standing away from everyone, says he hates doing this, but she'll understand when the time comes.
