59. Trapped
Students are working in pairs out on the field for gym class. Sakura and Madison are paired up together. Mr. Terada then switches the activities to basketball, first five-to-five, then one-on-one. Sakura does very well in her matches. It's Eli against Li now and Sakura is cheering for them both from the sidelines. Eli is very good and this makes Li more determined to beat him. Li chances to glance at Sakura and misses the basket. As he tries again, Eli gives him a tips and Li gets it in this time. He's rather confused by this.
At Reedington High School, Julian is walking, feeling rather tired. He suddenly sees Eli through the fence and transforms into Yue. He flies over the fence and is quite surprised as he says Eli is Clow. Eli makes him unconscious and makes Yue forget what happened. Yue goes back to Julian and when Julian wakes up, Eli tells him he was just asleep. Julian climbs over the fence and Eli leaves. When Tori joins Julian, he sees Eli and gets rather suspicious.
At Madison's house after school, Madison and Li are having tea and she mentions that he doesn't like Eli. Sakura interrupts when she enters the room in a new battle costume. Both Sakura and Li sense something and they head over to the school. Kero joins them and asks if there were any ghosts. Li said there weren't any. As the quartet walk down the school hallway, a lone basketball bounces, then leaves. They chase it and Eli watches them at the same time. The ball goes into a room and they follow it. It suddenly disappears. They try to find it but realize every door they open leads into a different room. They're trapped in a weird dimension where the rooms keep changing positions. When the enter the music room, the door closes before Madison can follow. Sakura opens the door and the former room had disappeared, leaving the hallway.
Sakura is really worried and runs out to look for Madison. The trio check all the rooms but can't find their classroom, which happens to be the one Madison is trapped in. Kero asks Li if he could help but Li couldn't think of anything. They all start thinking hard and Kero gets frustrated when he can't come up with any ideas. Sakura's eyes starts to water, but she hears Madison's voice, singing. Sakura asks Li and Kero to turn on all the lights and she releases her staff and changes Shadow. She tells it to find Madison's shadow. They chase after the card and the Shadow enters a room.
They all go in and only see Shadow. Then it disappears and they see Madison sitting there. Sakura hugs Madison and tells her she was afraid that she wouldn't find her. Madison said she knew Sakura would find her. Sakura hugs her again but suddenly senses something. Eli was on the roof and disappeared when Sakura took a look. Eli is on the ground, holding the basketball. He shoots the ball into the hoop in a neat shot, saying he'll have to be more careful. The quartet are ready to head home. Sakura says she doesn't feel tired, yet Madison is disappointed because she missed another capture. Kero tells her he would pose and tell her the story. Sakura tells Li he was very brave but before she could continue, Kero interrupts them and drags Sakura to pose for the camera.
