34/55. Sakura in Wonderland
Sakura is dreaming of Clow and the cherry tree from the shrine. She gets up early and rollerblades to school. Eli allows a leaf to land in his hand and it glows red. Sakura is reading Alice in Wonderland and Eli offers her the leaf as a bookmark. In class, Mr. Terada reminds them of their book report. Madison is reading a thick book called "War and Peace". The group of girls are going to the library and join up with Eli. Li runs by them. He's reading a book in Japanese and has to refer to a dictionary. Eli is reading the same book but without a dictionary. Li gets up and leaves abruptly. Eli leaves, too.
Touching the leaf bookmark, the leaf glows and it sucks Sakura into the book. The book closes on its own. Li rejoins Madison, saying a spell was placed on the book. Eli watches from afar. Sakura wakes up in an odd dress, not recognizing the place she's in. She calls for Madison but receives no answer. Walking down a path, she tries to recall what happened. She sees Eli sitting in a tree, with cat ears and a tail. He tells her he's the Cheshire Cat. Sakura thinks she's in a dream. His body disappears, then his head, and lastly his glasses, as he tells her she's in Wonderland.
Suddenly sees Julian appears, as the White Rabbit. He's late as usual and runs off. Sakura follows him and he suddenly transforms into Yue. He picks her up and says flying would be faster. They soar into the air when Yue/White Rabbit lets go of her and she falls. Back in the library, Li uses his sword to try to pinpoint the magic, while Madison watches on. Sakura finds herself having tea with Tori, the Mad Hatter. He pours tea for her and she drinks it. She realizes too late that the tea would make her shrink and she does. Sakura gets blown away and falls into the river.
When she wakes up, Sakura finds herself in Li's hand, who puts her on a flower. Looking up, she sees two Li's, one who is Tweedle Dee and the other is Tweedle Dum. They both say they learned martial arts and ask her who is the real Li. She gets it wrong and they disappear. Sakura decides to transform the Big Card and she uses it. However, she gets way too big. While at that altitude, she notices the leaf that was her bookmark. She takes out the Small Card and transforms it, returning to her normal size, and finds herself on a chessboard.
Sakura sees Madison now, or Humpty Dumpty, according to the latter, and Madison/Humpty Dumpty is playing chess with the Queen of Hearts, Kero. He suddenly transforms into Keroberos and chases Sakura angrily. Eli/Chesire Cat's head appears and he tells her the way out is the way she got in. Sakura remembers the leaf and uses the Fly Card to reach it. Keroberos gives chase and aims fireballs at her. She reaches the leaf in time and disappears into it. She flies out of the book and lands on the table, the wings disappearing. Sakura shows both Li and Madison her two new Star Cards. Eli is still watching silently from afar.
