23/46. The Final Judgment
Sakura can't believe Julian is Yue and it turns out that Julian never even knew of Yue's existence. Miss Mackenzie tells them there are no such thing as coincidences. Sakura says it's all like her dream. Yue forces out Sakura's cards and tells her to use them to beat him. But Sakura doesn't want to fight. In the meantime, the others can only watch. Yue orders Sakura to come to him and in a trance, Sakura jumps on buildings to go to the Tokyo Tower. The judgment beings and Sakura still refuses to fight him. Yue, on the other hand, doesn't care and attacks her with icicles. His whole attitude is very cold. Sakura escapes with Fly and uses it to fly away.
Yue flies after her and attacks with more icicles. Sakura gets hurt, being thrown around and slamming into the tower. Li tries to help, but Keroberos stops him, telling that no one can interfere. He also said Sakura was stronger than she looked. Back at the battle scene, Yue takes out a bow and arrow, prepared to shoot. Sakura chooses Wood, but it's a bad call. Yue stops Wood and shoots the arrow toward Sakura. Wood turns against her and traps her. Sakura has failed the judgment and the cards would be set free again. She wants to try again but isn't allowed. Now, everyone will forget what happened, like it never existed. Sakura tries to break free, but The Wood holds her back. They wrap around her until she blanks out.
Sakura's alarm clock wakes her and she gets ready for school. Although it's a normal day, Sakura realizes something is different, even in Li, and she's worried something's not right. After her practice, she leaves school by herself and runs for away before slowing down. She sees an old place and enters. Trees are everywhere. Tears roll down her cheeks. Then everyone starts to call her name and she hears a bell ring. The Wood Card releases her. Miss Mackenzie is standing on the roof with a bell in her hand, which disappears. The bell was from Clow Reed and it was to give her one last chance.
Sakura is more determined now. Her staff glows and the cards return to her, then the head changes from a bird to a star. Sakura uses Windy and, although it's under Yue's protection, goes against him even after he tries to control it. It traps the guardian in a sphere and he is brought down. Sakura says she'll try her best. She offers to help Yue up and says she doesn't want to be his master but his friend. Yue stands, tells her to close her eyes, and to trust him. He now recognizes Sakura as the new mistress. Sakura starts to float among the stars and lands on a path. She hears someone approach and sees Clow Reed. She thanks him for the new staff but he tells it was created by the power of her star.
Sakura floats back down to the ground and sees her friends running toward her. She takes Li by the hands and starts to swing him happily until he accidentally falls. She apologizes and Li says it's all right, with a smile on his face. Keroberos and Yue talk while they watch the others. Yue doubts Sakura but Keroberos says they should stay longer in their earthly forms. Yue tells him he won't remember anything and Keroberos told him he'll fill him in. They fly from the roof, transforming as they go. Sakura is happy to see Kero and then she sees Julian. Julian is watching the cherry blossoms fall from the tree and then he notices the others watching him. He smiles and waves. Sakura is happy he's okay.
