19/39. Under the Weather

Sakura is in bed and feels absolutely sick. A winged person floats next to her and places a hand on her head. Kero wakes her up to a raining morning and then realizes she doesn't look very well. She has a high fever but still gets out of bed, anyway. She nearly falls and Kero catches her by her collar. Sakura gets to school and her friends immediately notice that she doesn't feel well. She says she'll be fine. The day moves very slowly and Sakura starts to lose focus. Concerned, Miss Mackenzie has Madison take her out of class.

Sakura is ready to leave and nearly falls again and is caught by Tori this time. He carries her home and comments on the dreary weather. With Sakura back in bed again, Tori comes in to take her temperature. He watches Kero suspiciously, but says nothing about him. The city is surrounded by strange dark purple clouds. Getting up, Sakura senses the Clow card. It's related to the purple clouds. Kero says it's the Cloud card. Every time Sakura tries to leave, Kero pushes her back in. He tries to convince her to stay in bed since her brother will return, but she releases Mirror instead. Mirror takes on Sakura's appearance to take her place in the room.

Sakura uses Fly and heads toward the Cloud. Meanwhile, Tori returns with food and wonders something about the Sakura he sees before him. Sakura reaches Cloud but it attacks her, nearly toppling her from Fly. Li saves her with his wind incantation paper. She sees Li and Meilin on a neighbouring rooftop. He yells at her for coming even when she was sick and Sakura says she can't let it continue as it is. Mirror tries to eat some of the food Tori bought but doesn't finish it.

Tori gets up to leave and Mirror asks for the medicine. He responds by saying that you don't take medicine when you're not sick and tells her he knows she's not his sister and that they met once before. Mirror remembers the time Tori fell from the cliff and Sakura came to seal her and she nods. Tori tells Mirror not to tell Sakura that he knows what she's been up to since he has the ability to see and she agrees. Li tries splitting the clouds but it does nothing. He then uses fire to clear them up. Sakura sees the Cloud and comments that it looks like Rain. She tries to seal it but falls. Meiling catches her and helps her seal it. The card goes to Li and Meilin cheers that he got it. However, Li gives the card to Sakura.

Sakura returns home and goes right to bed. Mirror returns to a card and slips back into the Clow book. Kero tells Meilin and Li, who also came along, that she's fine. Kero tries inviting himself as a guest in Meilin's house and both bicker. Sakura is still feeling sick. Tori checks her temperature again and it's worse. He gets up to call a doctor when he sees someone beside her. It's their mother. She places a calming hand on her forehead and Sakura knows it's their mother. She leaves soon after and Sakura rests comfortably. The next day, Sakura is back to her cheerful self and she goes to thank her mom. Tori asks why she did that and Sakura says she had a feeling their mother was there for her.
