38. A Berry Strange Day
All the students in Sakura's are on the bus and they're going to the strawberry farms. Zachary makes up a story about strawberries and, as usual, Sakura and Li believe him until Chelsea stops him and drags him away. As they start on their tour, Sakura bumps into Julian. She learns that Tori and Julian are working there because there wasn't any school. Li stops in front of a house and senses something. When he turns around, he sees Miss Mackenzie watching him, but then she leaves. Meilin catches up to him and pushes him to follow the others on the tour. The door of the house warps slightly, then returns to normal.
Everyone is picking strawberries while Sakura is unsure of how to do it. Julian helps her out and Madison is taking the whole scene. Li pops up and shows Julian the berries he picked. Tori joins them and tells Julian it's time for a break, and as usual, Tori and Li glare at each other. All the while, Miss Mackenzie is watching them. Soon, it's time for lunch and Nikki tells everyone that there is a change of plans because they can't get into the centre. Syaoran is suspicious and Sakura is really curious, so she and Madison leave to go to the centre.
Sakura opens the door with no problem and she walks in with Madison. Li warns both of them about it and he walks in himself with Meilin. He senses something again when the door slams shut. The four of them try to pull the door open but it's useless. Meilin picks up a chair to break the window but she gets thrown back. Sakura senses that it's a Clow Card and Li confirms it, saying it's The Lock. Out of the four of them, no one knows what to do. Madison suggests calling Kero, but it doesn't work since Kero didn't answer the phone. He was in the kitchen looking for food. Then they hear voices outside and realize it's their friends.
Meilin tells them they're trapped and they go get help. Still trying to find a way out, Li uses his lasin board, but it doesn't work. The three girls find Tori and Julian and tell them, mainly because they can't find Miss Mackenzie. The four prisoners decide to go look for the card. Sakura is looking near the ceiling when she falls. She hangs onto the ledge, just in front of the window. There she sees Miss Mackenzie sitting on a tree branch, watching. She points to the base of her neck. Li helps Sakura up and she tells him what she saw. When Li checks, he sees nothing. Sakura figures out she meant the Clow key. Meanwhile, Tori is about to use a key when Miss Mackenzie says everything is okay.
Sakura puts the key into the lock and a sudden gust of wind blows through the room. The Lock materializes out of the door and Sakura is pushed away. The Lock tries to return to the keyhole after the Clow key fell out but Li blocks it with an incantation paper. Sakura seals The Lock and gets the card. Now they're able to open the door again, but they also have to clean up the mess the Lock Card made. Soon, all the students are watching a video inside and they make cakes. Sakura gives a slice to Tori and Julian and Julian likes it. When she goes home, Sakura tells Kero about her day and realizes she gave Kero's share to Julian. Kero starts to chase Sakura around the room.
