9/31. Dragon Slayer
Nikki is reading a book about dragons in class and she loves the book. Later on, she discusses the book with her friends when Meilin pops up, saying Li knows everything and also asking where he was. Li is on the school rooftop, trying to sense a Clow Card and he does succeed in sensing one. After school that day, Sakura and her friends are walking home when Nikki wants to stop by her favourite book store and the other girls follow her. Outside the store, Sakura senses a Clow Card. Inside the store, Nikki is browsing through all the books when she finds a nameless book - with some writing but mostly empty pages - and a quill. She takes it and buys it. At night, Madison is taping Sakura when Li and Meiling show up. It seems they're all looking for the Clow Card. Meilin and Kero begin to fight, but are interrupted when Sakura and Li sense a Clow Card, both of them pointing to the same direction.
Suddenly, they see a cat approaching them; a giant-sized cat. The cat growls at them and all the Card Captors try to run away from it. Sakura releases the Fly Card, hopping onto her staff and pulling Madison up with her. Madison continues taping, never missing anything. While running, Meilin trips and falls and the cat pins her down with a gigantic paw. Li draws his sword, pointing it at the cat. The cat releases Meilin and walks toward Li, giving him a lick. Kero tells Sakura that this was the work of the Big Card. Sakura suspects where it is and goes to it. Li's about to follow but the cat knocks him over and pins him, purring and rubbing its head against Li's back. Meiling tries to pull the cat off of Li but to no avail. Meanwhile, Sakura and Madison find the Big Card sitting near a fountain. Everything the Clow Card touches with its wand grows big. Sakura immediately seals the card and everything returns to their normal size. The cat, still purring, has shrunk to its normal size. Meilin picks up the cat and yells at it for ruining their chance.
At the same time, Nikki is in her room, reading her new book. She finally comes to the end of the writing and the rest of the book is filled with blank pages. She thinks of something to add to the story, picks up the quill, and starts writing. Now the Card Captors are walking home, and Kero and Meilin continue to argue. Sakura suddenly sees something - in fact, they all see it - but Li knows its not a ghost. Suddenly, a panther leaps out of nowhere. When it looks at them, it had swirls for eyes and it sprouts pink wings. With its new wings, it begins to fly back and forth as all of the Card Captors sweatdrop. Then more animals appear, each having swirls for eyes and wings. Kero knows it's the work of the Create Card.
A sudden gust of wind materializes and all of the animals are blown away. A huge pink dragon appears overhead. All of the Card Captors run from it but are blown into the bushes by a mere flap of the dragon's wings. They all emerge from the bushes and watch as the dragon lands on the ground and roars. it then begins heading toward downtown. Li uses lightning to try to stop the dragon but it doesn't work because the dragon is too big. Sakura takes out the Big Card and uses to make herself become as tall as the dragon. The others watch in awe at the gigantic Sakura and the dragon. Sakura runs to the dragon and grabs its tail, trying to pull it back. This entire scene can be seen through Nikki's window as she continues to write.
The dragon rears back and fires fireballs at Sakura. Now the dragon is chasing Sakura, still firing fireballs. The dragon pushes Sakura to the ground and gets ready another fireball. But it suddenly stops and begins to disappear. Nikki, calling it a night, closes the book and goes to bed. Sakura immediately seals the remains of the dragon before it fully disappears. The book on Nikki's desk disappears and the Create Card lands in Sakura's gigantic hand. The next morning, when Nikki goes to see her book, she sees it's no longer on her desk. Looking around, she can't find it anywhere. The book had vanished.
