10/26. No Way Out
Sakura, being late as usual, is rollerblading home when a cat suddenly crosses her path. She gets out of control when she avoids it and someone catches her hand and she comes to a stop. The mysterious woman who helps her smiles and says she'll see Sakura tomorrow. Sakura watches her leave, confused. Sakura and Kero are in her room, talking about the woman Sakura had met. Again, Kero is nearly discovered by Tori. Again, Sakura is late for school. When she gets there, she learns that their was going to have a new math teacher. That's when she finds out her new math teacher is the same person that helped her the day before. Li is suspicious of this new woman and he tells Sakura, Madison, and Meilin this. The woman, Miss Mackenzie, suddenly appears and talks with them. Sakura likes her but Li doesn't.
Later on, Nikki is talking about these good luck amulets. Sakura and Meilin are interested with the news though Meilin pretends to not care. After school, Sakura and Madison walk to the shrine to get the amulets Nikki was talking about. As they entered the gardens, Sakura senses something strange but Madison doesn't. As they continue walking, they see Meilin dragging Li to the shrine to get matching amulets. Li doesn't want any and they fight. All of a sudden, they hear a strange bell ringing and then a maze appears around them, trapping them inside. Meilin blames Sakura for the maze appearing and trapping them. When Sakura is about to go look for an exit, Li tells her that they had to get out of it together. Sakura senses that the maze was a Clow Card and Li confirms this, saying it was the Maze Card.
They start wandering around the maze, trying to find their way out but without any luck. Sakura suggests using Li's lasin board but it doesn't work. Sakura releases her staff and the Fly Card. She tries to fly to the top of the maze but everytime she went higher, the walls of the maze grew even higher. Meilin is mad because she really wants to get the amulets. Sakura takes out the Sword Card and slashes at the wall. The wall splits apart. But when the Card Captors tried to go through the wall, it resealed itself. Then the maze began to warp; new walls were formed and old ones vanished. Madison was getting pushed up by a new wall so Li used wind to bring her back down.
The maze stops warping and they realize they are now in a three dimensional maze with different space dimensions. They also realize Meiling is missing. They spot her in a few moments, seeing her standing sideways. Li tries to use the wind again but it doesn't work because of the different dimensions so he tells her not to move. Back at home, Aiden is worried about Sakura and Tori goes out to look for her. In the maze, the three Card Captors are trying to find their way to Meilin. They find out that they have to enter a tunnel and that meant they would lose sight of Meilin. Li tells her to count so they know where she is. She starts to count as they walk into the tunnel. Suddenly, she stops and the Card Captors run to the end of the tunnel. Meilin is no longer standing there. They all worry about her disappearance. Out of nowhere, a bell rings again. They turn to the sound and see a shadow heading their way.
It's Meilin and she hugs Li. Miss Mackenzie is following her, holding the bell. She had tried to warn them about the card by ringing it earlier. She takes the bell, bangs it against the wall, and the wall crumbles without resealing. They run through the crumbled walls and find the exit. After they're all out of the maze, the maze begins to warp again. Li tells her to seal it but Sakura hesitates. Miss Mackenzie smiles then turns around and Sakura seals the Maze Card. The card goes to Miss Mackenzie who gives it to Sakura. At this moment, Tori finds them and Miss Mackenzie apologizes for them. Then, Meilin and Sakura remember about the amulets and run to the shrine, but it's closed now. Miss Mackenzie surprises the two girls by giving them each an amulet. Madison has to go and Li leaves as well, Meilin chasing him and showing him the amulet. Miss Mackenzie says goodbye and goes, and Sakura says thank you.
