7/25. Double Take
It's a day without school and Sakura is out buying things. Then just outside, we see "Sakura" walking by the same store. The original Sakura then heads home and is stuck with chores to do. Meilin and Li are shopping when they see Sakura run by and knock down a display. Chelsea and Nikki are in a different store when Sakura runs in and throws things around. But the real Sakura did none of that. She was still at home for the entire day. The second Sakura walks by the Avalon's residence and watches it and Tori almost caught her, sensing her presence.
The next day at school, Sakura's friends are reluctant to talk to her until Meilin confronts her about what she did. Sakura protests to this, saying she was home the whole day, and her friends, believing her, are relieved. The class bell rings and all the students enter as Li tells her to be careful. During cheerleading practice, Sakura's mind is occupied with what her friends told her that she misses the catch and the baton drops on her head. Later on, Sakura is still seen running and ruining things. Chelsea and Nikki, having witnessed it again, chase after her. Madison and Sakura are having ice cream and Sakura expresses her worries. That's when she sees the other Sakura. She tells Kero about it when she gets home and then realizes that it's a Clow card.
The guardian teaches her how to use the cards to tell prophecies and that all the cards know now that she's the cardcaptor. The prophecy tells her that the card is actually after Tori. Sakura is seen walking and when Tori sees her, he stops to talk to her. The real Sakura, with Kero on her shoulder, rush out to look for her brother. False Sakura points to something and Tori follows her and helps her look for whatever she was missing. As the cardcaptor approaches, they come across a barrier created by the card. Tori is still looking for her when he suddenly falls. At that moment, Li suddenly appears before Sakura to Kero's surprise and she pleads with him to use his lasin board. Meanwhile, Tori is still hanging from the cliff while the fake Sakura just watches until he falls.
Li uses the lasin board and he and Sakura both follow it. At the bottom of the cliff, "Sakura" goes to see Tori who tells her that he knows that she's not the real Sakura before losing consciousness. The card feels sad for what she did. Sakura and Li use Fly to go down to the bottom of the cliff and Sakura, angry at what happened, releases Windy. But Windy just passes right through the other card. Water card produced the same result. Kero says she has to be able to identify it first. After looking at her brother for guidance, Sakura approaches the other her and expresses her anger for the card hurting Tori. Then she realizes that the card mimicks her actions and knows which card it is: Mirror. Mirror's visible form appears and she apologizes to Tori. Sakura seals the card and gives her brother a hug.
Later, Sakura is back at home, cooking something for dinner. Tori is in his room with his broken foot in a cast. When his little sister enters his room with Kero sitting in her hood, he stares hard at him, causing the guardian to swear. The doorbell rings and Sakura leaves, also apologizing to him, while Tori wonders what's in the food she made. Madison and Julian are at the door and Julian goes to visit Tori, who can't remember what happened. Madison had brought cake and while they prepare it, Sakura asks Kero a lot of questions concerning the Clow cards. She's now determined more than ever to capture them. When she and Madison leave to serve the cake, Kero can't help but be worried.
