18. A Fair to Remember
Sakura is surrounded by little glowing orbs. Then, she wakes up. It was all a dream. Sakura is on summer break and Kero asked her if she finished her homework yet. Sakura changes the subject immediately. She goes out to buy the groceries and passes by Julian's house. Julian, sitting on the roof of his house, greets her and invites her in for tea. Sakura accepts, blushing. Inside his house, the pair enjoy the tea and chat with each other. Julian's grandparents were on vacation in Florida. Sakura stays a while but hears the clock and knows she has to leave. Julian walks her home and carries the groceries for her. Sakura, not paying attention to where she's going, slams into someone; her brother, Tori.
At their house, Sakura asks Julian to stay for dinner, which he agrees to and he helps them out. Julian asked Sakura if she knew about the fair. Sakura said that she was going with Madison. Tori said he was going to go with them. Julian asks if he can come and Sakura said she would call Madison to check with her. After she leaves, Julian chuckles and says Tori was worried about Sakura. In her room, Sakura is trying to decide which kimono to wear and Kero is eating a big dish of food she prepared for him. At the fair, Sakura, Madison, Tori, and Julian are all dressed in kimonos. At one of the booths, Julian wins a red balloon for Sakura.
Madison is busy taping everything. Both girls then run into Chelsea and Zachary, and they see Li playing at one of the booths. Li has to shoot down the prize he wants and he has won a lot of prizes already. Julian and Tori join them and Julian tells Li it was amazing. Tori looks mad. Zachary starts to tell a lie, but Chelsea stops him in the nick of time. Chelsea then asks Zachary to win her a doll from the ring toss but when he says no, she starts to strangle him. Madison says to Sakura that you could tell they were family by the way they fought. She suggests afterward that Sakura could ask Li if she could have some of his prizes to give to Kero.
Li and Tori interrupt when they start glaring at each other and at the same time, Zachary won a doll for Chelsea, making her really happy. Madison suggests that she should get a rabbit for Kero and Julian says Tori can win it for her. Li runs away and Tori is right on his heels. Both of them slap down money on the booth, rings in hand, and a glare fixed at each other. Other people watch with curiosity. A barrage of rings ensue from the two. Julian suggests that they walk around and Madison opts to stay and watch. Sakura and Julian start walking around and Sakura sees bright lights. She think they're fireflies. A few fly into a tree and then more appear and begins to rain down to the ground. Sakura recognizes them from her dream.
Sakura tries to tell Julian something but gets interrupted by Li and Tori who jumped out of the bushes, each holding a rabbit, panting because they're tired out. Madison, Chelsea, and Zachary are right behind them. Madison says that they played so much that the owner of the booth gave them a doll each. Tori gives his to Sakura, who hugs it. Sakura was glad she got interrupted for she was about to tell Julian she was a Card Captor. Zachary suggests going to get some ice cream when Sakura senses something. The lights appear again and Sakura releases her wand and seals them. It was the Glow Card. Madison is taping her, as usual. Sakura said it was an easy capture and she hoped there would be more like them.
