14. Play Misty for Tori

It's the twenty-fourth annual Reedington High Culture Fest. Sakura is there with Madison, and the latter tapes the former. Tori is backstage and sewing something as a few girls watch. Apparently he lost a bet. As Sakura walks down the hall in the school, she sees Julian, in a kimono and he waves to her. His class runs the Japanese food booth and they all have to wear kimonos. The two girls order food and drinks and sit down. Sakura gets a weird feeling and sees Li at the doorway. Julian says hi to him. Li flips over and glares at Sakura. Julian offers Li a drink and Li snatches it. Afterward, Julian goes on a break and shows the tree around. Sakura and Li are very enthusiastic, with the exact same words and actions.

Meanwhile, Tori and two other guys are carrying a trunk up the stairs, dropping it because it's heavy. A few girls say the guys better not ask them for help then ask Vicky if she memorized her lines. Vicky says almost and leaves to practice them, since the play was starting soon. Down on the field, Sakura is hugging a stuffed doll that looks a lot like Kero. A guy tells her she can have it if she wins against the school's five best players. Sakura hesitates and the guy continues to say you have to give a quarter to play. Julian offers him a quarter, surprising the guy. The guy takes the quarter. Julian plays and shoots the ball near the basket. Sakura and Li are worried it won't go in. When the ball does goes in, the other guys are shocked and Sakura and Li clap for Julian. Julian gets the doll and gives it to Sakura. Then he holds up two more quarters. The guy's surprised Julian wants to go again. Now Sakura, Madison, and Li walk away with dolls. All the basketball players lie around, tired out.

Julian says it's time for their class performance, and that Tori was in the play. There are many students working backstage. Meanwhile, a weird green mist appears outside. Inside, the auditorium is packed and a girl is playing the piano. When she finishes, the play begins. The play is Cinderella. The play starts and begins with the narrator. Cinderella is actually Tori. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters are all guys, as well. Sakura blushes with embarrassment and Madison said the play is weird. The green mist wraps around the school and enters it through the vents. You can see the railing on the vents disappearing. Back at the play, Vicky makes her appearance as the prince. Tori then stumbles into the scene in a pink dress, earrings, and gold tiara. Tori and Vicky start to dance and Tori is obviously a lot taller than her. In the audience, Sakura and Li sense something weird. Backstage, two students are fanning out fog for the scene. The new scene has Vicky and Tori on a balcony.

The green mist makes its appearance and wraps around the columns. Sakura and Li see it and watched as the pillar starts to crack and break apart. The balcony starts to break apart and Vicky falls. Luckily, Tori catches her. The people in the audience watch in horror. The green mist now breaks the rope and the curtain falls, blocking everyone's view. Sakura says it's a Clow Card and she and Li run off. Kero is at home, meanwhile, crying while watching a romantic movie and eating cookies. Sakura calls Kero and Kero says it's the Mist Card. It covers things in fog and destroys them. Sakura and Li get into the sound/recording room. Kero tells them they have to round up the mist. Backstage, Julian tries to run up the stairs, but they crumble under him and he goes back to the ground. Vicky suggests to Tori that he let her go since he can't hold her anymore. Tori refuses to and tries his best to hold on. Sakura gets an idea and uses Shadow. The Shadow traps the Mist and Sakura seals it. The card goes to her.

Suddenly, Vicky screams as the balcony breaks off and she and Tori fall. Li uses an incantation paper and catches them with wind, then deposits them gently on the ground. All the students surround them, worried and relieved. Tori looks at the room Sakura and Li were just in, but they're gone. Later that day, there is a bonfire show. Madison is sad because she missed the capture. Sakura thanks Li for his help and Li blushes. Julian joins them afterward. Tori and Vicky are on the school roof and Vicky thanks him. Tori tells her not to worry about it and Vicky asks him to dance with her around the bonfire. Down on the field, students are dancing in a circle around the fire and Tori dances with Vicky. When it's time to switch partners, Tori walks off and says he wants to see his sister and joins her and her friends. Julian then asks Sakura to dance and she agrees. Li gets mad while Madison starts to film them. Julian and Sakura join the dance as everyone watches them. Sakura is very happy.
