16/3. Allies
Sakura's class is at the aquarium and they're going to see a penguin show. During the show, a small whirlpool grabs the trainer and pulls her under water. A penguin try to help, but gets caught in the whirlpool, too. Tori, walking by and now working in the aquarium, hops into the water and "breaks" the whirlpool by pulling it apart. Everyone involved is okay.
At the Avalon home, Sakura is making pancakes and tells Kero what happened. She gives some of her pancakes to Kero and settles into thought. Tori arrives home at this time and Sakura throws Kero up the stairs. To her annoyance, he eats her pancakes. Kero thinks the event must have been caused by something and Sakura suggests the Water card. The guardian beast tells her that she should use either Windy, Shadow, or Fly to capture it.
In school the next day, the cardcaptor is thinking of what to do. Madison tells her not to worry and gives her one cellphone and another for Kero. Sakura calls her friend later and let's her know she's going to the aquarium. She runs into Julian and they go together, while Madison, with Kero, films her from the background. They look at some fish before settling in the cafe and ordering a bite to eat.
Suddenly, the tank cracks and water pours over everyone. A whirlpool catches Sakura this time and keeps her under water. Tori is looking for her, but Julian saves the day by getting hold of a fire ax and cutting the door down, which forces the water out of the room. Tori carries her up; everyone is worried about her. From something Julian says, Sakura gets an idea on how to capture the Clow card.
They go back at night, sneaking into the aquarium. As per their plan, Madison goes one way while Sakura and Kero go another. Sakura calls out for the card and it materializes. She uses Fly to escape and then releases Windy, using it to lead the Water card into a freezer. Sakura shuts the door after it, trapping it there. The card begins to freeze and when they finally reopen the door, it's only a frozen ice statue left standing there. Sakura seals it and blanks out slightly from happiness while Kero suggests they all go for ice cream.
