2. Partners in Crime
It's morning and Kero wakes Sakura up. Sakura is surprised to see Kero, since she already forgot about him, and Kero has to remind her of everything. Sakura insists she's not a Card Captor while Kero says she is. Realizing she's going to be late, Sakura rushes off to school. At school, Sakura is the first one in class then her best friend, Madison, joins her. Madison shows her something that she taped the night before. It was of Sakura on the Fly Card. Sakura was shocked by the tape and Kero suddenly pops out of her bag. Madison immediately recognizes Kero from the video.
At lunch time, Sakura and Madison decide to call the guardian beast Kero, instead of Keroberos. Meanwhile, the shadows of everything are acting strangely. Kero asks Sakura to show Madison her magic and Sakura releases her staff. Madison is really excited and wants to film her. After school, the shadows are really acting weird and they start floating around the school. The next day, when Sakura gets to school, there's a big commotion outside. Sakura's friends greet her and point out a huge pile of desks sitting on the field. The same thing can be seen with the desks in the classroom.
When Madison gets to school, she sees her friends fixing up the classroom and putting the desks away. Madison suggests to Sakura it may be a Clow Card. Later on, Kero confirms it. Kero says they should go to the school at night. Madison wants to go along, too. However, Sakura is very reluctant to go. At night, Sakura and Kero are waiting outside the school. Madison arrives in a car. Four women step out and Madison introduces Sakura to her bodyguards. They inspect Sakura, nod to Madison, and leave in their car. Also, they left behind another huge car. Madison brings Sakura into the car and Sakura is amazed at all the clothes. Madison makes her change into one of them, saying she needs a battle costume. Kero gets to sport a big bow as well, to match Sakura's costume.
Suddenly, Sakura hears something and she gets scared. A statue comes flaying at the them. At first, Sakura thought it was a ghost but they saw the statue was being carried by a shadow. Other shadows appear and they learn it's the Shadow Card. Sakura releases her staff, While Madison is taping, and uses Windy. Windy breaks Shadow's attack, but Shadow continues to attack. Sakura switches to the Fly Card and tries to dodge the desks being thrown at her by shadows. Then the shadows change tactics and try to pull Sakura from her staff.
All of a sudden, the lights flip on, inside the school building and outside. Sakura is released from Shadow's grip. Madison and Kero wave to her from a window inside the school. It was they that turned on the lights. The Shadow Card starts to leave, but then attacks Sakura. Sakura releases Windy, who traps Shadow. She then proceeds to seal the Shadow Card. The next day, at school, Sakura is looking for Madison. Madison is watching a video of the capture from the night before. She tells Sakura she always wants to be there when she captures a card and she wants to design and make all of Sakura's outfits for her battles.
